Urban Sanctuaries: Urban Sanctuaries: Pasadena Heritage, Pasadena CA Founded in 1977 to safeguard architectural and craft traditions, this organization opens doors to living history through workshops, walking tours, and the annual Craftsman Weekend. Archives document how climate, patronage, and cultural exchange produced innovations in furniture, ceramics, and landscape — preservation as active study. We meet inside through the front doors in a large well lit hall.
