Join us on Wednesdays in Los Angeles for a lively evening with Folk Lounge on the LA River to help you explore vocabulary, materials, illustration, and nature — try a little of everything before you commit to loving one thing, developing your own expression, craft fluency and sewing technique along the way. Whether you are picking up a needle for the first time or returning to a practice, you are invited to play, explore, and grow in community with dedicated support.

MEMBER PERKS

Some things are better with a standing invitation. Membership at Folk Lounge means real investment — in your joy, your skill, and the depth of what you're making. It's 8-10 classes a month with a lounge built for the craft, a community that grows with you, and Founders status for those who are in it for the long haul. In person is where it lives — online and replays are there when you need them. This way in →

IN RESIDENCY WITH

Frogtown Arts Gallery is a nonprofit rooted in Elysian Valley, along the Los Angeles River — one of the few places in LA where art, community, and place-making have been quietly inseparable for nearly two decades. Through festivals, free classes, film, and year-round programming, they hold space for artists and neighbors alike. Members are a buzzing community that gathers, exhibits, and shares a network you won't find anywhere else.
