SPEAKER
Sona Gevorkyan is an architect, educator, and ceramic artist based in Los Angeles. Born in Armenia, her work explores the intersection of architecture, materiality, culture, emerging technologies and AI-generated media. She investigates how surface, ornament, memory, and femininity shape the environments we inhabit and the futures we imagine. She teaches architecture at Cal Poly Pomona and is interested in translating speculative digital worlds into physical experiences through fabrication, ceramics, and installation driven by curiosity how new technologies can expand human creativity.
