With roots in Armenian and Russian culture, I’m drawn to the grammar of ornament across cultures. As I deepen in my practice in textiles, art, illustration and craft, I knew it would be far more joyful as a collective experience.”
Shagho is a multidisciplinary design leader, artist, and cultural practitioner who works at the frontiers of innovation and community. She is also a founder of Folk Lounge, hosting Embroidery Socials around LA.
