Join us for a vibrant workshop with @folk.lounge inspired by Wende Museum archives, to explore the rich tradition of floral cross stitch in Soviet and Russian culture, focusing particularly on roses and flowers as symbols of transformation and potential.

Through hands-on cross stitch techniques, participants will create their own floral embroidery pieces while discussing how these natural symbols transcend cultural boundaries yet carry specific cultural meanings about transformation and becoming.

Craftcation is a five-day gathering in Ventura for makers, artists, and small business owners—bringing together craft workshops, business sessions, and community in one of the rare spaces that holds the full spectrum of what it means to be a working creative. Whether you're deepening your craft or figuring out how to sustain it, this one is worth the drive up the coast.
