Join us for a narrative embroidery workshop by @folk.lounge. Inspired by The Epic of Gilgamesh and its ancient search for eternity, we invite you to become the archivist of your own magic. Through the intimate ritual of drawing and embroidery, participants will create a personal scroll that preserves and honors their lived
experiences and transformation - the unspoken, unrecorded, and forgotten stories that shape who we are. This is conservation work of the most personal kind: stitching lineage, labor, and quiet triumphs into tangible form, ensuring that what we have lived endures.

Craft Contemporary is a museum on Wilshire Boulevard dedicated to revealing the potential of craft to educate, captivate, provoke, and empower—presenting dynamic exhibitions by established and emerging artists who are often underrepresented in larger institutions, alongside hands-on workshops and public programs for all ages. The only institution on the West Coast focused exclusively on craft, it has been championing makers since 1973.
